Bedworth Society Outing to Lichfield
We are organising a trip to Lichfield on Thursday 7 May 2026. The coach will leave Bedworth at 10.00am, and we head for Lichfield Cathedral, who are currently hosting an exhibition called "The Longest Yarn: Britain at War". The exhibition is 80 meters long, and is scenes from World War II in knitting - including the D Day landings and the Royal Family on the balcony at Buckingham Palace. The coach will leave Lichfield at 3.30pm.
No-one is obliged to see the exhibition, and there are lots of other attractions in the centre of Lichfield to visit.
Cost to members is £12.00 and non-members £15.00. Entrance to the exhibition is by donation.
